Pastor Testimonials on Steve Stucker Sharing God’s Word
We invited Steve Stucker to preach for a network of churches in July of 2023 at the launch the Connie Mack World Series of Baseball. Steve knocked it out of the park, so we invited him back to preach at Hills Church a few months later.
We had both services packed with people excited to hear from him. Steve always says it’s one thing when a church invites him to preach once, but it’s another if that same church invites him back! I’d say it’s one thing when people come to hear Steve preach once, and another if even more people come to hear him the 2nd time!
That’s what we experienced at Hills church. If you are a church leader, do your congregation and community a favor and invite Steve Stucker to come share at your church. Thank you for blessing me and our congregation, Steve.

Dear Steve,
I know you’re familiar with Peter’s words in his first letter: “You love him even though you have never seen him. Though you do not see him now, you trust him; and you rejoice with a glorious, inexpressible joy.” You and I both know by experience exactly what he’s talking about.
With all the respect that is due God’s Word, I want to paraphrase those words: “I truly love and respect my brother, Steve — even though I have never spent time with him in person nor have I had the honor of shaking his hand. And even though a face-to-face meet-up is yet to happen, I trust him and am so grateful to him for how he helped me and also encouraged our church
family, here in Cortez.”
I have lost count of the number of folks who — unprompted — have told me how sobering and encouraging your message was to them. Last Saturday, I finally had a few moments to take in the message myself. And I say, “Amen!” One moment that struck me especially deeply was the “width of a man’s hand.” Your tape measure object lesson, as well as honesty about your own
health challenges...wow.
Thank you for paying attention to where our church family has been, as well as where we intend to go, as we follow Jesus. Your fresh voice, relaying a consistent message, was a tangible blessing!
Personally, having time away to rest and reconnect with my bride, all while knowing there would be no “train wreck” when I returned — there are no words. “Thank you” doesn’t seem sufficient. But I assure you that it is sincere.
I look forward to have you back as soon as possible. Two things will be different: I will give you more than 3 weeks lead-time and I will be on the front row!
Thanks again, brother!
